This article explains what a Contact Request is, how it’s triggered, and what you need to do to respond. A Contact Request is required before you can begin a Talent Transaction.

Step 1: Someone Views Your Talent

Once you’ve created a Talent Profile (see: How to Create a Talent Profile), another company may view that profile.
If they express interest, you will receive a Contact Request notification:

Step 2: Open the Contact Request

This opens the Contact Request Received page.

You’ll see:

  • Name and company of the requester

  • Their contact info (email + availability)

  • A link: “Go here to respond to this request.”

Step 3: Respond to the Contact Request

Click “Go here to respond to this request.”

Once you respond, your contact info is shared with the requester.
The status will update to show that you’ve replied.

Important: Both parties must respond to the contact request before a transaction can begin.

How to View Contact Requests

You can view and manage all Contact Requests from the top navigation menu.

  1. From the top menu, go to:
    Talents → Contact Requests

  2. Then choose from the submenu:

    • Pending – Requests you have received but haven't responded to

    • Sent – Requests you have sent to others

    • Responded To – Requests you have already responded to

What Happens Next

Once both parties have responded:

  • You can begin drafting the contract details

  • You'll receive a Talent Transaction Initiated notification
