This article provides an overview of the main dashboard and top navigation menu. Use this guide to understand what each section does and how to access key features.
Top Navigation Menu
The top navigation menu contains dropdowns that organize the system into core functional areas.
Talents →
My Talents – View all talent profiles connected to your account; edit or remove talents from the Actions column
Add – Create a new talent profile
Search My Talents – Search only among talents created by your organization
Search – Search the broader talent network, including talents from other companies
Saved Talents – View talents you have saved
Bulk Import Talents – Upload a CSV of multiple talent profiles to be added at once
Saved Searches – Quickly return to searches you've saved
- Transactions → (view and filter talent transactions by status)
New – Start a new transaction by selecting from eligible contact requests
Pending – Transaction has been initiated but is awaiting further action
Upcoming – Transaction is confirmed and scheduled to begin in the future
Active – The transaction is currently in progress
Completed – The transaction has ended successfully
Hidden – Archived transactions that are no longer visible by default
Pending Cancellation – Cancellation has been requested but not finalized
Cancelled – Transaction was cancelled before completion
Lapsed – Transaction expired or was abandoned without completion
- Contact Requests → (used to initiate transactions with other companies)
Pending – Requests you have received but have not yet responded to
Sent – Requests you have sent to other companies but are still awaiting their response
Responded To – Requests you have responded to (waiting on the other party to respond or ready to proceed with transaction)
Positions →
My Positions – View all positions created by your organization
Add – Create a new position
Search – Search all available positions. You can filter by industry, profession, zip code or telework, and availability dates
Bulk Import Positions – Upload multiple positions at once
Billings →
Make a Payment – Submit a payment for your membership or transactions
Invoices – Preview and download past invoices
Membership Plan – Review your current plan, compare plan types, and update your membership level
Reports →
- My Most Popular Talents – See which of your talents are viewed the most
- My Most Common Searches – View your most frequent industries or skills search
- Most Common Searches – See top professions and skills search across the IQ Exchange platform
[Your Company Name] →
- Account Settings – View and update company info and account details, manage users, and adjust company-wide settings
- Ratings – View your company ratings
- Migrations→
- Migrate Talent – Reassign one or more talent profiles from one user to another within your company
- Migrate Position – Reassign one or more job positions between users in your company
- Migration Requests – View a history of submitted talent or position migrations and track their status
- Softland Talent– Sponsor a departing talent by making their profile independent for a limited time.
⚠ You will no longer have access and they can be contacted directly by other companies ($20/month sponsorship fee)
Dashboard
The main dashboard offers a real-time snapshot of your activity across the platform. This is the first screen you see after logging in, and it provides quick access to recent actions, alerts, billing, and more.
Quick Navigation
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see a row of helpful buttons:
Search Talents – Start a new search across the full talent network
Add Talent – Quickly create a new talent profile
Add Position – Create a new job position
Search Positions – Browse or filter available positions
These buttons provide fast access to the most common actions without needing to navigate dropdown menus.
Tip: To return to this main dashboard at any time, click the IQX logo in the top-left corner. This functions as your "home" button across the platform.
Dashboard Tiles
- Account Activity – Displays a bar graph showing the number of talents who are:
- Employed (YTD)
- Currently Employed
- Available
- Recently Viewed Talents – A running list of the talent profiles you have recently opened for easy reference
- Click the expand icon (top-right corner) to open a full-screen view that displays up to 6 recent viewings. You can revisit that talent's profile by clicking "View"
- Notifications – Displays real-time alerts such as:
- Talent Transactions (e.g., Begun, Signed, Ending)
- Contact Requests Received
- Profile Views
- Click the expand icon (top-right corner) to view your full notification inbox, archive older messages and adjust your notification preferences
- Billing Information – Shows your current billing status, including:
- Plan type (e.g., Standard)
- Latest invoice date and amount
- Link to view invoice details
- Click the expand icon (top-right corner) to open the full invoice table and take actions like viewing or downloading past invoices
- Current Agreements – A summary box showing the number of talent transactions (agreements) by each status:
- Active, Pending, Upcoming, Completed: Each one links to a detailed list of transactions for that status
- These statuses correspond to talent transactions, which represent agreements between your company and others to hire or place talent.
- Talent Activity – Use this line graph to monitor workforce movement across time (90, 60, 30 days, and current):
- Total Employed This Year
- Current Employed
- Available
What Happens Next
From the dashboard, you can:
- Access recently viewed talent profiles
- Monitor key notifications such as “Talent Transaction Signed” or “Contact Request Received”
- Track billing and agreement statuses
- Use the top menu to navigate directly to key actions like adding a talent or making a payment
